Help!!!

Okay, so I need to scrap some pages on Easter. Here's my dilemma, whose album do I put it in, the family album or Douglas' album? Currently I have a physical album for family things and one for Douglas' 1st year. In his first year album I did a page for every month and special events. I was planning on doing another album for just Douglas, but was NOT going to do a page for every month. I'm wondering if I should even have a separate album for Douglas becasue so many things I would want to put there I'd want to include in the family album as well. However, there will be single events, etc that will work best in his own album. What do you guys do with your albums?

I'll tell you what I am doing... don't know if it'll help though. :)

I am creating one big giant family album that will include all the pages about all of us. There is like one page of just shane and I and every other page has at least one of the girls in it.

Then, I am making an album for Hannah and an album for Kathryn. Those will have all of the pages with both girls and also the pages with just the girl it's about. So... Hannah's won't have any just Kathryn pages in it.

I guess my thinking is that when they are older, it will be their book to have and do whatever they want with it, but I will still have the family one for us. Does that make sense? It means a lot of the same pages though and I don't know if you want that.

Good luck deciding!

You could always make a page just for Dougie's album and one for the family album as well but that is a lot of work. Unless you feel you have enough photos and such to work with. But I think Sarah has a good approach to the whole thing. It makes sense if you are plannin on giving Dougie his own book later but not if you are going to keep it.

If there is a page I make that works for both kids, then it goes in each of their books. I bet Douglas will like to look at the book that has his name on it rather than the family one. It's digital -- you don't have to worry about how many copies of it are made. :)
