This is my first layout since the Stand Up and Scrap contest. I needed a break and I was worried I wouldn't create as good of a layout as I did in the contest. And this one isn't as good but I still like it. I'm tired of scrapping in 8x10's. Thats what Douglas' first year album is in and it's hard! That's partially why I haven't scrapped lately b/c I have 6 pages of his that need to be done so that his album is finished and I don't like scrapping that size so I've been putting it off. His next album will be 8x8 like our family album. Anyways, here is his 9 months/first steps page.

I've been wondering if you had been scrapping and just not posting or what! That page is so cute!
I tried to do an 8 1/2 x 11 page for someone the other day and it was the hardest thing ever. For some reason, that rectangle shape is tricky! I love 8x8. I'll have to bring my shutterfly book to show you sometime.
Do you scrap at 8x8 and resize all your papers and elements? I scrap at 12x12 and then resize everything to 8x8. I wonder if there's an easier way.
I used to scrap at 8x8 and resize everything until I realized that scrapping at 12x12 then resizing it was easier. I'm kind of slow. :-)
